Hi I'm Rueben. Married with 1 kid. I have two occupations: first selling chips to different manufacturers and the second as an editor of a business ideas newsletter.
Both are very interesting but it can get exhausting at times. Lucky for me I have a very understanding partner. _________________ --------------------------------------------

| Hi Reuben |
|
|
Welcome to the forum.
I'm Dennis Bevers, an old-timer in home-based business. I started my business 21 years ago, working it part-time, after my full-time job in the military. Once I finally bailed out of the militry, with no retirement, it took a while to turn it into a full-time income.
My office is in my home, but I try to get out and call on customers face-to-face at least 4 days a week. My product line is promotional advertising, so it's primarily business to business.
Find something you enjoy that you can turn into an income source, and you'll never have to work at it a day in your life.

but you have to treat it like a business. If you aren't there to open the doors and take care of the customer's needs, they can take their business elsewhere.
In addition to working in your business, you also need to work "on" your business. Look for ways to expand your sales volume, both with new clients as well as trying to selll more merchandise or services to existing customers.
It's important to investigate any business thoroughly before jumping in. If it doesn't hold your interest for the long haul, it will likely decline over time as your boredom with it increases.
The more passion you have for your business, the morel likely you are to see it through the lean times.
good luck with whatever you choose to pursue.
