 Your own name as a web domain...
This is on offer with the ws. tag which
is supposed to refer to 'web-site'.
I thought it was quite a neat idea, so I got one.
They allow multiple sub-domains too, which
gives you plenty of name options. 
If this takes your facy, PM me...

I think it is a good idea for anyone, whether you are promotting a business, applying for a job, hosting a personal portfolio, .ws however, in my opinion is only a good idea if .com is unavailable for your name. If you can still get .com for your name it is better.

PS: The idea here was to introduce the idea of a new set of
domain names on the .ws where .com was no longer there
to use...
