| Does It Really Work? |
|
|
I'm new to the Work From Home bandwagon. I don't know who I should sign up with. I don't have any money to join the ones who request a start up fee, then there are the ones who only publish your ad for a fee. All I really wanted to do was type or make calls for a company from home. Are there any homework opportunites like that out there? What happens to those of us who really have nothing and live paycheck to paycheck and would like to make extra income on the side so that they can take their kids to the movies or on vacation? _________________ anneka234b |

You have to really do your homework, that including learning all you can about the company to possibly talking with distributor's who will be honest with you about how they are really doing with the business. You can't always go by that because everyone will work their business different from the next person.
IMO I feel you should first educate yourself on the industry you want to get into, don't just take what is written on forums it all come down to YOU and what you have to do in order to be successful in anything you do.
Is it possible you can do something that will not require a great deal of money first to get some cash coming in before just jumping into what you are looking to do.
What industry are you looking at, wellness/nutrition, affiliate marketing, pre-paid legal, what are you looking at you talked about a fee to get started. There are plenty of businesses you can get started in for under $100 but it does depend on what you want to do. PM me for a list of a few.
Check out my signature below either one of the link will offer you the opportunity to get started slowly earning some money first so that you are able to get into more opportunities that will yield more in the end. You can get started in affiliate marketing without having to lay out any money right away, see below. good luck.

Hello anneka,
The trick is to find something that will hold your interest while you are building your business. The likelhood of finding a 'work at home' job are rather slim. Many of the 'jobs' offered online aren't jobs at all, but self-employment or contract work opportunities that won't provide a steady income.
Be very cautious about paying for info about job listings. Most job listings for work-at-home are likely to be listings of companies pulled off the web or out of phone books, with little prospects of current job openings. I haven't seen it listed anywhere I visit lately, but do a Google search for "The Real Deal about Telecommuting" (I home I got ithe exact title. If it doesn't show up than search just the key words - "real deal, telecommuting.) I believe the author's name is Rosalind Mays.
If you decide to try the self-employment option, there are some resources that may help. eLance is a pay-for-contract work site, that lists current temporary and one-shot contracts for hire. Typing may be needed by a company converting print to digital data on a one-shot basis. You pay a flat-rate or percentage for each contract you get. Some may be for piece work, while others may be for a specific time period to fill in for an employee absence.
Some business opportunities (bizopps) may provide you a comfortable work-at-home or work-from-home income that will meet your needs, without a high upfront cost to get started. Here's some criteria that may be helpful in evaluating different bizopps that you may be considering -
Here then, is a list of prerequisites you should consider for evaluating and analyzing the potential of any new enterprise--
The ideal business...
NO Dealer Fees
NO Inventory
NO Delivering
NO Employees
NO Limited Territory
NO Sales Taxes
NO RISK
* requires no investment -- that makes it totally risk-free -- nothing to lose!
* has an unlimited, massive market with extraordinary growth possibilities and potential.
* is one you can test and try out before you make a commitment, not after its too late!
provides you with products that are products that are purchased again and again by the same customer -- repeat orders a certainty!
* is one that gives you the opportunity to build a customer base that you will own -- it's called, EQUITY!
* has no franchise fees, no territory restrictions, no reports, no regulations -- total independence- freedom.
* has an exceptionally low overhead -- no significant cash expenditures, no investments in equipment, inventory, location -- no payroll -- no credit losses -- no loans -- no accounts receivable to carry.

Hope this helps

I Know what you mean. I just got started with a program and have spent more money than I have earned so far. I am hoping that will turn around soon once I discover the tricks to getting people to check out the product and offers without spending so much to do so. Have a great day
