| Do e-books really sell that well? |
|
|
I'm trying to get a handle on this internet marketing stuff and so far I've found that most people/sites are promoting one of 2 things:
affiliate marketing
selling information
I've tried affiliate marketing but I just don't seem to be able to get either the traffic or people who are interested in the product.
I thought I might offer a "How To . . ." book but do those sort of books really sell?? I mean, if you want to learn how to do something there seems to be oodles of free tutorials and how to sites all over the internet.
What would make a person chose the 'purchase an e-book' road??
Your thoughts would be helpful. _________________ Learn Internet Marketing with one of these programs -

I'd never pay for an e-book. Too much free info out there. _________________ •Part-time home business. Perfect for stay-at-home

I have sold tons ...
You need to understand the best way of selling them.
The straight clickbank > adword method works but you need to have really done your homework ... buy some good ones about online selling and study hard
I can make some reccomends if needed
Hope this helps _________________ I am doing ... so can you!!

Hi,
I was interested in your post as I have purchased several e-books over the years myself and have to admit to being let down by the content of a number of them.
I agree with an earlier post about using clickbank, although at the moment I am using direct payment via paypal for a couple of e-books at my own website, http://www.internetincome.webeden.co.uk - you should research what sells and try to ensure a niche market - then get a quality product that fits.
There has been a lot of hype around e-books and I think they will only ever be a sideline revenue generator rather than a core selling proposition.
