Hi all,
New to this forum & the home based business deal.
Was looking to get started with either EPI or Vacation Power/Coastal Vacations.
Can anybody shed some light on either of the 2 ....good or bad.
Also, where can i go to gather on companies i am looking to get involved with. Other that this site & Wahm.com.
Thanks & nice to meet you all. |

I wouldn't touch either of these with a ten foot pole.
Both have had a history of troubles.
Try doing a google search for "EPI scam" and "Coastal Scam" and see how many different links you get. Feel free to visit a few of the anti-scam sites for their response on these two companies.
You didn't give any info about yourself in your profile.
It's nearly impossible to suggest any bizopp for you, and many may not be available or even legal in your country, whatever country that is.
What works well for me, Kaeser and Blair, isn't available for people living outside the United States.
You may actually live in the US, but you didn't even indicate your home country.

You can find more info about Coastal Vacations on WAHM.com (Work At Home Moms)
There was a post about that company earlier this week in the business advice/question section. Hope that helps! _________________ Alana Forster

We talked candidly for quite some time just the other night. He's been doing it for over 6 months and isn't doing well. He says it's a big ticket item so it makes it much harder. You are really limiting yourself to the people you can market to.
As far as finding more out about wah opportunities, check with the BBB to see if they are a member in good standing. Like the person in the first reply said, it's hard to recommend an opportunity for you when we don't know much about you. I found something that is working really well for me and we have a great support team in place that values our commitment to our businesses. I liked it because it is really a low cost vehicle to financial freedom. _________________ Carrie Russo

Fortunately, I can reccommend this company because it does work for me and you don't have to be a salesperson. This is not a big ticket item but rather a low-cost businesss you can work from anywhere. The market is big and almost 70% of Americans need it and we make it affordable for families. A WAH business like Melaluca or a business in which you have to sell products is far more difficult because your market is narrow and more specific. Check out our company website for more info. We have over 40,000 home-based workers on the payroll and thousands of members (with a 30-day money back guarantee).
The company has been in business for 13 years, member of Better Business Bureau and seen on 60 Minutes and American Medical Review.

I know Alana wanted her earlier message to be disregarded but...I need to clarify for those who are new to working at home. Any time somebody is offering a product or service, there is some type of selling involved. Although you may not be physically stocking product and delivering or order taking, you still need to be able to communicate effectively so that the person understands your business.
In defense of all other home businesses, the market is very wide for just about all of them. Especially consumable products. Everybody uses them and always will. I think I would say that there is a larger market than the 70% that might be interested in what it is that Alana is speaking of because people have to brush their teeth, wash their hair, clean, etc. Whereas people don't HAVE to have health insurance or travel vacation timeshare, etc. Hope this helps those of you looking for something successful to do from home. Remember that is really about what you can believe in because the people you talk to will know if you are really standing behind what you're doing. _________________ Carrie Russo

| It's not that the travel industry is tainted... |
|
|
it's closer to saturated for the remaining commissions that are available.
As for Coastal, it is one of the Aussie 2-Up programs, where your sponsor gets the commissions on your first two sales. Yes, the sponsor will help you, but after those two, they will have less motivation. So, they are constantly looking for two more, who are looking for two more, etc.
There are many legitimate travel bizopps in the US, but most end up being sold on the idea that as a travel agent, you can get the agency discounts and/or commissions. In the US, many former commission opportunities no longer pay the agencies, including air travel for most airlines.

Hi All,
I have just joined this forum and would like to introduce myself. My name is tina, I live in the midlands UK. I work from home and enjoy my precious time. I have just one little boy "Jordan" who keeps me rather busy.
I am an internet webmaster, having said that, I am self taught, I thought it would be hard to learn BUT it's not, it's very easy.
I love the countryside and live in a little village. Other than my husband and son, my other loves are my Audi TT and AMG Mercedes V8, not to forget my loving Spaniel "Loui" he's probably my best friend.
I Like a chat.
All the best
hear soon

Hi y'all. My name is Autumn and I am new to the work at home business.
I'm not having much success with the learning bit, but I love a good challenge,
so I'm not going to give up just yet. If anybody knows of any good teaching
websites, I could really use the help. Thanks so much. _________________ ---- Earn $1,000 Per Day! ----
