Could you use an extra $300 to $1,000 a month to pay some bills? Get a free membership to do paid surveys at SurveyClub and they will help you earn extra cash in your spare time, just by doing simple and fun online surveys. I couldn't believe it, but it's true - and I highly recommend you visit their site!

Barb,
Your experience is typical. Most either earns nickels and dimes or are entered into a drawing for $50 to $500 cash, with odds equal to those on a $1 lottery ticket - slim and none.
There are legitimate income opportunities for both online and offline efforts. The automatated and lazy-man's methods rarely live up to their promises.

How true, a month ago I brought into SurveyScout only to find a listing of some 300 or so survey companies, all of which I think I could have found on my own for free with a little research. Oh well lesson learned. Anyway joined nearly 30, and have been doing their surveys for nearly a month and have made only 5.00, and that was from Pinecone (which I understand is one of the best). Yes I was lucky enough to find their banner.
The one thing that really pissed me off was that some, like Pandaresearch , constantly push you to some other trick, whereas you get x amount of dollars only if you COMPLETE such and such offer. Though I sure that there some very legit company out there, most simply push your email addy off to someother company.
When I started, I created a seperate email account for surveys only, and now I get over 50 email "offers" a day. I mean, I'm 54 years old with teenagers, why would I want free diapers? Well maybe in 20 years, I may need the adult size!
Now the problem is, remembering and keeping track of which survey company is working out best for me. A little word of advice, write down and keep a list of the actual survey companies that you actually sign up with, it gets real confussing real quick. At least in my case.
Here a few that send me surveys on a sometimes daily basis:
Greenfield
Survey Spot
NPDOR
Global Opinions
Synovate
OTX
Zoom Panel
Bellewether
I-Say
Testspin
And those are the ones come to mind first, after a quick check of this mornings emails.
But like I said, some will bounce you into a partner survey site.
Bottom line, and it's just my opinion, if someone asks me about 'being paid to take surveys" I would tell them to stay away. Just this morning, I spent 2 1/2 hours taking them, just to be entered into a monthly drawings or have points added to my account, etc. I'm giving them another 30 days, if no cash comes in, the email account will be closed. And keep in mind with a little research, like reading forums and blogs that are available, you DO NOT have to pay to join a program to take surveys, you can find a listing of hundreds for FREE!
Hope this helps anyone. _________________ "Ready to get started? Take this step!"

JJW,
Thank you for your very detailed answer. Some feel I may be biased against surveys for actually generating income, and it helps to have someone else document it so well.
Best wishes for you in finding an online or offline income source that works for you.

fritzy,
I don't want to sound rude, but you aren't going to find any substatial source of income without putting some money into it. Every opportunity I have ever found that stated you would get lots of money for free ended up generating next to nothing. _________________ Earn Automated Millions! @ http://therm10.automill.hop.clickbank.net |

You think you take the invitation to do a survey for money, you much more often are taking to some "Free" offers that end up cost you money if not canceled in time. That's my experience with paid survey for the most part. Though I usually don't take up the "free offers", it's still, yeah, frustration. I wish someone could say I am wrong.
I have switched to try other more promising opportunities... _________________ This Affiliate Program is SCREAMING with Momentum!!! http://jxu1.SuccessUniversity.com/New |

I've been taking surveys for 2 months now, and have not, with the exception of $5.00 from Pinecone, made a dime.
I do however, spend most of my time clearing out my bulk email folder from all of the trash that has been generated as a result of signing up for so many survey sites.
And if I win in all of the monthly drawings that I've been entered into by taking "today's" survey, I should clear close to $500.000 ....... yeah right!
In my opinion, these surveys are a waste of valuable time. Some surveys can take up to 30-40 minutes to complete, now add that up if you do 3 or 4 surveys a day. And trust me some companies send out surveys everyday, whether it be them or one their "partners!" _________________ "Ready to get started? Take this step!"

There are good opportunities online to make money but the survey thing won't pan out for 99 out of 100 people. _________________ www.1stbusinessreview.com
